I know what it’s like to feel trapped, powerless, and unsure who you can trust because I’ve been there. Not long ago, I was a successful Headteacher, leading a school in one of the UK’s most deprived areas. On the outside, I seemed strong and in control. Inside, I was living in the grip of a manipulative, abusive relationship that drained my confidence and my health.

Escaping forced me to face some hard questions about why I’d stayed, how I’d lost my voice, and how I could make sure it never happened again. The answers changed my life and became my purpose.
